Officials admit they were foolish not to go into the school sooner, as harrowing 911 recordings depict terrified pupils inside a Robb Elementary classroom pleading with emergency operators to provide rescue.
The initial 911 contact came at 12:03 p.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety, as a student whispered to officials that she was in room 112.
Salvador Ramos, 18, is suspected of killing 19 kids and two teachers.
After the shooter, Salvador Ramos, got access to the elementary school, the pupil dialed 911 four times.
Following the initial call, the student called 911 at 12:10 a.m. to inform them of multiple dead students.
Three minutes later, the caller called police again, this time claiming that eight to nine pupils were still alive.
As officials determined Ramos was inside the building for more 30 minutes before being killed, the student pleaded with officials to “please send police now.”
